This unforgettable vacation experience is sure to take your adventure to new heights! Our one-of-a-kind accommodation, a REAL repurposed Chinook CH-47D helicopter, promises a stay like no other. This iconic “choppa” with the modern amenities of home, can not be found anywhere else in the world!

Step into our meticulously transformed Chinook Helicopter, an exclusive and totally unique vacation rental, and embark on a journey into the heart of nature’s beauty and the outdoor excitement that surrounds it. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a one-of-a-kind gateway to the great outdoors and adventure.
The first bedroom, nestled in the cockpit, boasts a two person sitting area directly in the heart of the Chinook. We have recreated the environment of the pilots that once flew this iconic aircraft. Sitting in the pilot and co-pilot chairs, looking out the front windows, imagining what it must have been like to fly something like this is truly awesome.
The second bedroom is located at the back of the Chinook where all the mission’s business took place. The loading ramp, where you can almost “feel” the aura of the many hard working veterans that were once loading supplies, cargo, vehicles and themselves into the belly of this workhorse helicopter, has been transformed into a cozy private balcony overlooking the breathtaking beauty of the forest.
The full kitchen, bath and living area were custom designed for this unique space with every design detail poured over. There is so much to take in; from the custom epoxy poured countertops embedded with all kinds of surprises, the custom tiled bathroom, to the view of the “bones” of the Chinook now on display behind the clear sections of wall. There is so much to see, experience and immerse yourself in, you will be taking in the details for your entire stay, and wanting to share them with all your friends, family and colleagues!
That’s just the inside! Once you step out the door onto the sprawling deck of the Choppa, you’ll again realize just how unique your vacation stay really is. You have your own fenced yard, a grill for whipping up meals with your friends and family, tons of seating and a hammock for relaxing in the sun or stargazing. The Moto Ranch 5 acre compound, the surrounding Withlacoochee State Forest and Croom Motorcycle area will recharge your spirits.
During the day the area is full of outdoor adventure: almost endless motorcycle, mountain bike and 4×4 trails, hiking and horseback riding while immersed in the beautiful and serene forest, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and the list goes on and on.
At night, it is magical at the Moto Ranch! It is quiet and peaceful with only the sounds of nature, with open space and areas for your friends and family to gather around the fire pit and enjoy each other’s company, or just sit and take in the beautiful surroundings and all the nighttime’s stars.
Staying at our private and modern two bedroom, one bath Choppa, known as the “Chinook,” offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort and convenience. Unwind in the privacy of the fenced yard, relax indoors with all the modern amenities of home, and stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi, in the company of friends, family and even the four legged family that join you on your adventures!
